WELCOME TO THE OTTAWA CHILDREN'S CHOIR
Welcome to the website of the Ottawa Children's Choir, a musical organization dedicated since 1958 to enriching the lives of choristers, families and the community.
To support our vision, we:
- Strive for choral excellence through professional choral training for children who have demonstrated musical aptitude.
- Promote the advancement of children's education in, and knowledge and appreciation of choral music.
- Provide annual educational outreach initiatives.
- Perform regularly within the National Capital Region, as well as nationally and internationally.
- Study and perform a wide variety of repertoire, with emphasis on the works of Canadian composers.
- Commission and perform new Canadian compositions.
Congratulations to the Ottawa Children's Choir.
You have a wonderful tradition of musical excellence which you ably share with your audiences. I feel privileged to have conducted you at the NAC for many years and benefitted by the inspired performances you provided for our young audiences.
